All of our cavity bird houses have the following features:

• made from untreated wood, pine or cedar
• we use galavanized screws for the best seal
• ventilation around the top and  under the roof
• drainage holes in the floor
• no perches, a perch can actually help predators gain access to the nest
• thick walls, at least 3/4″
• the front wall has interior grooves that act like a small ladder to help in climbing out of the nest.
• hinged door on either the side or bottom for seasonal cleaning
